Would my hair look retarted layered from 2 inches from the top down?
Do you get what Im saying like from the scalp and down 2 inches and then layer down from those 2 inches. My hair is frizzy at about that at the top. I figured layering it or getting it cut would make it look less horrible. More smooth. What do you think? (My hair is alittle longer than shoulder length. And I have layers that grew out basically. And I have bangs to the side.)
Dude, seriously. Don't do it. I did that like six inches from the top and it looked awful. It kind of looks like a mullet because of all the volume and it takes forever to grow them out. I ended up having to cut my hair pretty short in order to get rid of them. In order to get rid of the frizz, consult with a hair stylist and ask what products she uses for frizzy hair. Ask her to SHOW you how to use the products too on YOUR head. Don't do anything too drastic, especially right before fall. If you do end up getting layers, I recommend only front layers, a lot of people can't pull off the back layers. Layers won't make your hair look smoother, just more broken up and frizzy if you get them that high.
Good luck!
