where do iznik tiles come from?
i need to know for an art project so can you add a little more detail.
They do come from Turkey and Greece area. Hard to say since ( if I remember my tile classes) they date back to Alexander the Great.
Google Iznik tiles and you ll come up with the whole history of the tile. Check the Wikipedia( sp?). That site will give you the whole story. GL
