Should I Be Feeding My Lactating Cat Special Food?
A few days ago, my cat gave birth to 6 beautiful, healthy babies. She has been doing a great job breastfeeding them, but my only concern is that she seems a bit thin and bony since she's given birth. Should I be feeding her special food to ensure that she is producing enough milk AND getting the nutrients she needs to keep herself healthy? Right now she is eating Iams adult. This is the first time I've raised a litter of kittens, so i am unsure of what to do. Any help is appreciated.

Kitten food...its normal for them to get really skinny after birth. If you were breastfeeding 6 babies it would take alot out of you too! haha...
