What do we need to brew our beer?
My friends and I are going to start to brew our own beer and have been making a list of things that we will need. this is what we have on the list so far.....Carboy, Propane cooker, stainless steele pot, wort chiller, air lock, bottles, caps, thermometer, Iodine, siphon tubes, cleaning brushes.

Iodine is a great choice as a sanitizer. Bleach is too risky for off flavors in your beer. All equipment needs to be cleaned well. Only sanitize [all] equipment on the cold side of the brewery. That is any equipment starting with the wort chiller/heat exchanger onward. Most books on brewing are great these days. Use and cross reference many source materials. This confirms a common practice and pieces together details for a better more complete understanding of the topic. Keep brewing. Not every beer will be good and only a few will be great. It takes a great effort to control the parameters to make and reproduce a great homebrew. So "Relax, Don't Worry, Have a Homebrew."
